Welcome to Edugen.IO! These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website and services, located at edugen.io. By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Edugen.IO if you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

1. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide us information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account on our Service.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. Parents are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their children's account credentials and for all activities that occur under their children's accounts.

2. User-Generated Content

Our Service allows you and your child to post content, such as text and images for quest submissions ("User Content"). You are responsible for the User Content that you post to the Service, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness. You retain all of your rights to any User Content you submit.

By posting User Content on the Service, you grant us the right and license to use, store, and display such User Content on and through the Service solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service to you and your connected users.

3. Third-Party Trademarks and Content

Our application allows users and our AI to generate educational content that may reference third-party products, services, or brands, such as video games (e.g., Minecraft, Roblox), movies (e.g., Star Wars), and books. All third-party trademarks, service marks, logos, brand names, and product names are the property of their respective owners.

The use of these names is for nominative and referential purposes only—that is, to identify the subject of an educational quest or interest. Edugen.IO is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of these trademark holders. The mention of any third-party product or brand does not imply any association or relationship between Edugen.IO and the trademark owner.

4. Points and Rewards System

The points, quests, and rewards system within Edugen.IO is provided for motivational and educational purposes. Points have no real-world cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred outside of the Service. The availability and nature of quests and rewards are at the discretion of the parent account holder.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis ("Subscription(s)"). You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis ("Billing Cycle"). Billing cycles are set on a monthly basis.

At the end of each Billing Cycle, your Subscription will automatically renew under the exact same conditions unless you cancel it or Edugen.IO cancels it. You may cancel your Subscription renewal either through your online account management page or by contacting customer support.

6. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Edugen.IO, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which our company is based, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
